World Mission Program
Go. It’s a small but powerful word. It almost always implies change or motion; it isn’t satisfied with the status quo. It moves us from standing to sprinting, from peering over the edge to jumping in. It commands us to do something meaningful, to abandon our fears and sometimes even ourselves for the sake of others. It takes us to places we never imagined we would see, where we are confronted with the reality of brokenness and inspired by stories of hope. This movement, this single step toward action, teaches us about reliance on God, God’s calling in our life and who we were created to be. It never leaves us the same. Will you go?
Consider giving two months to 4 years to immerse yourself in a unique ministry. You’ll wrestle with how to make your faith real and relevant. You’ll participate in the joys of daily life, but also take part in relieving the practical needs around you. Be prepared to give tirelessly and expect to be blessed immeasurably by the people you encounter. You’ll be in one place long enough for your life and your actions to see God work in a miraculous ways not only in the life that you touch but your own.
